About The Author

Larry Dwayne Snell, born in San Bernardino, California, and raised in Highland Park, Detroit, overcame life’s challenges to carve an inspiring path of growth and purpose. After leaving school early, he returned to earn a Liberal Arts degree from Wayne County Community College and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Wayne State University. His career spanned roles at WXYZ Channel 7, WJRT Channel 12, and WDIV Channel 4 as an editor and writer. Later, he served as a teacher, writing coach, and project manager, dedicating his life to education and community impact. Today, he finds fulfillment in sharing his powerful journey of resilience and transformation.
